We have organized several volunteer opportunities for parishioners and families to participate in as a parish family on a single day. Whether you enjoy painting, sorting donations, cleaning, serving at a food pantry, or visiting with a homebound parishioner, we have a project that is perfect for you and your family.

Greater Worcester Land TrustLocation: 4 Ash St, Worcester, MA 01604 | Work: The site requires cutting back branches, limbs, and brush to keep the trail network clear. There are some opportunities for erosion control and perhaps a small bridge installation over a wet patch. Material provided: 15 loppers, saws, and hand clippers for trail blazing, and some small hand saws. *Volunteers could bring loppers or hand clippers of their own Parking: Use small parking area at the trailhead and overflow parking in the field. Also use the adjacent park is needed. What to wear: Comfortable clothes & closed toe shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty. | Families, Teens, Adults |

St. Mary Homebound Project and VisitsLocation: St. Mary's Hall and visits to Homebound Parishioners | Work: Decorate prayer box, write a prayer, and decorate a rock with a positive message. Families will then deliver to one or two of our homebound parishioners. | Families with small children or teens. |
Catholic CharitiesLocation: Southbridge office located at 79 Elm Street, Southbridge, MA 01550 | Work: - Organizing and sorting donations (clothing, food, household items) - Pantry work and food distribution prep - Cleaning and general tidying - Light outdoor work (weather permitting) | Teens, Adults *Important Note: To ensure the safety and compliance of all involved, we do require that a CORI check and a copy of a valid photo ID be submitted for every adult who will volunteer at one of our properties, regardless of age or role. Habitat for Humanity ReStoreLocation: 640 Lincoln Street, Suite 100, Worcester, MA | Work: Organizing donations, restocking shelves, clean-up | ReStore can host volunteers aged 14 & 15 as long as they volunteer with a parent or legal guardian present. Once a volunteer is 16 years of age they can volunteer independently at the ReStore. Waiver form may be required. Orientation video required for adults. |
