  • Coming Back to Church

The suspension of the Sunday obligation to attend Mass will remain in force until December 31.  Older adults and those with underlying health conditions should continue to avoid public assemblies and remain at home.  Persons who are feeling sick should not attend Mass in person.

We want to ensure the health and safety of all our parishioners and are ready to welcome you whenever you feel comfortable and ready.  Before you return to Mass, please familiarize yourselves with the procedures and protocols we have put in place for everyone's safety:

    • Returning to Mass - Procedures and Protocols for Returning to Mass
    • Returning to Mass - Parishioner Summary for Returning to Mass
  • Mass Times, Recordings and Livestreams

    Mass Times (In the Church)

    SATURDAY:  4:30 PM
    SUNDAY:       7:30 AM | 9:00 AM | 11:00 AM | 5:30 PM

    Recorded Sunday Masses:

St. Mary’s will continue to record the Sunday Mass each week which can be viewed on Sunday at 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM on Shrewsbury Cable Channel 28 or 328.  The Sunday Mass will also be posted at 8:00 AM on the St. Mary’s Facebook page  @stmarysshrewsburyma and on our website here.

    Daily Mass (In the Church)

    MONDAY - SATURDAY:   8:30 AM

    Daily Mass (Facebook Live)

St. Mary's will continue to livestream daily Mass from our Facebook page at 8:30 AM Monday - Friday.
  • Sacrament of Penance

The Sacrament of Penance will be offered on Saturday afternoons from 3:30 – 4:15 pm.

Our parish confessional remains unsafe due to the closeness of the priest and penitent seated only a few feet apart or separated only by a grill not designed to prevent virus transmission.

For the time being Confessions will be heard in the Large Meeting Room opposite the elevator. Penitents will be seated six feet from the priest and will have the option of anonymity or facing the priest. The penitent and priest should both be wearing a face covering or mask. A waiting area will be found outside of the large meeting room with chairs also six feet apart. Confessions should not last longer than three to five minutes, in order to limit exposure of both priest and penitent..

  • Public Access to Parish Offices

In order to minimize risk to you and the St. Mary Parish staff, the Pastoral Center offices will be closed to the public until further notice.. Parishioners may contact us at 508.845.6341 or by email.

  • Shopping for Seniors

Volunteers are ready to assist our Seniors or any parishioners who wish to remain in their homes as a precaution.  If you need  groceries or someone to run an errand for you, please contact Msgr. Mike at 508.845.6341 ext. 2 or michael.rose@stmarysparish.org
