St. Mary School subscribes to Discovery Education, BrainPOP and Thinkcentral. Students can visit these sites from home using the usernames and passwords found on their personal St. Mary School Student Online Resources page given to parents at Parent/Teacher Conferences.

Discovery Education is the most comprehensive digital educational video-on-demand resource available today. The DE Student Center offers over 30 media types, including Science Simulations, Virtual Labs, Skill Builders, Fun-damentals, Math Explanations and Overviews, Science Sleuths, e-books, Interactive Glossary, Leveled Reading Passages, Songs and the very popular Interactive Atlas.

Discovery Education is available to your student 24/7. Students log on to www.discoveryeducation.com using their unique username and password found on their St. Mary School Student Online Resources page.


BrainPop contains hundreds of animated curriculum-based videos that engage students and bolster achievement. Your student can explore many aspects of Science, Social Studies, English, Math, Engineering, Technology, Arts, Music and Health through videos, quizzes, experiments, timelines, activities, interactive games and much more.

BrainPOP is for students from Grade 3 and up. BrainPOP Jr. is geared to students in Kindergarten through Grade 3.

Both are available to your student each day between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Students log on to www.brainpop.com or www.brainpopjr.com using the username and password found on their personal St. Mary School Student Online Resources page.


ThinkCentral is a wonderful online site provided by our Language Arts textbook publisher. Here our students can access online versions of their Language Arts textbooks and other enrichment material.

Kindergarten through Grade 5 students log on to www.thinkcentral.com, select “Reading & Language Arts,” select “STORYtown” and then enter the username and password found on their personal St. Mary School Student Online Resources page.

Students in Grades 6 through 8 log on to www.thinkcentral.com, select “Reading & Language Arts,” select “Elements of Literature” and then enter the username and password found on their personal St. Mary School Student Online Resources page.
