Saint Mary Parents’ Association Greetings - WELCOME 2007
We would like to welcome everyone back from Christmas and into a Wonderful New Year.
There is so much going on at school this month. We are so excited! We have the Magazine Drive on January 10th-22nd. Make sure you renew all your subscriptions and buy a few news ones. These make great gifts! Our Mother/Son event is on Friday, January 19th. We are going to see the Worcester Sharks hockey game ~ that should be a lot of fun! Now, mom's and dad's, get your dancing shoes on for a night of dancing, dining, and gathering with family and friends at the St. Mary Ball on Saturday, January 27th at Cyprian Keyes Country Club. Don’t forget to buy your tickets! Catholic Schools Week is right around the corner. Let’s get our school name out there for Open House on January 28th. The Teacher Luncheon is on February 2nd and we will need volunteers to stay in the classrooms with the children while the teachers enjoy their lunch. If you would like to volunteer please contact your Room Parent. Join us on February 3rd for the Pasta Festival after 4:30 Mass. We hope to see you all there!
Looking back into December, it was great! We want to say thank you again for Elves Workshop. What a lot of fun for both our teachers and our children. It's fun to see how anxious our children are to buy us Christmas gifts that they really put so much thought into. We thank Maria Lemieux, Sira Naras, Sue Storer and their committee for giving our children "a day of shopping". We also had a wonderful turnout for the Holly Fair. The crafters had beautiful items and the outcome of everyone joining us for these two days was wonderful. How beautiful our church hall looked. For that we thank Debbie Leonard and Wendy Lyon, along with their committee.
We look forward to a FANTASTIC year!!!
"A child's eyes, those clear, wells of undefiled thought - what on earth can be more beautiful? Full of hope, love and curiosity, they meet your own. In prayer, how earnest; in joy, how sparkling; in sympathy, how tender! The man who never tried the companionship of a little child has carelessly passed by one of the great pleasures of life, as one passes a rare flower without plucking it or knowing its value"
