Gift of Reading

The Gift of Reading Program allows you to buy a book for the school’s library ~ in your own name, in your child’s name, in honor of a teacher or a loved one. By buying a book, you help maintain a current and varied selection of reading material for our children. Your gift will be enjoyed by many for years to come. It is truly a gift that keeps on giving!

Here is how the program works:

  • Mrs. Cote has selected books that would be great additions to our library. You may choose from the list below, which is grouped by grade levels, or suggest an alternative book that is special to you.
  • Fill out the order form completely, include your payment and send it in to school with your child, kindness of Danielle Lynch, Grade 7.
  • A special bookplate will be placed inside your book selection, indicating the book was given to the library in honor of or in memory of your special person. For example, you may choose to have the bookplate say “In honor of Nana, Christmas 2011, from the Smith children” or “In honor of a wonderful teacher, Mrs. Appletree, given by the Clark family, Christmas 2011”.
  • You will receive a gift card that you can give to the special person whom you are donating the book in honor of.
  • Your selection will then be placed on our library shelves to be enjoyed by all!

Click here to display an order form in your browser. Then click the "Print" button in the browser to print out the form, then fill it out and return it as per the instructions on the form. Note: You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the order form. Click here to get it.

As you are making out your holiday gift list this year, please consider this wonderful program. A donated book makes a special gift for grandparents, teachers, children, or that person who seems to have everything!

The Gift of Reading program will continue throughout the year. Please consider participating to celebrate other occasions as well:

Child’s Birthday Grandparent’s Birthday Memorial Gift Father’s Day
Mother’s Day Valentine’s Day End of the year gift for child or teacher
Wedding Anniversary First Communion Grandparent’s Day and more!

Thank you for considering this very special program!

Happy Holidays!
