Second Grade Service Project The Second Grade class made Christmas ornaments and pins to sell at the Holly Fair. They made angels, crosses, mice, wreaths, icicles and snowflakes. Each ornament was sold for one dollar. The money was raised for the Worcester Telegram and Gazette Santa Fund. This fund helps out needy children in the Worcester area. Over the two days, twenty children from the class came to both sell and create more items. They raised a total of $317.00. The kids enjoyed making and selling the ornaments, and people loved seeing the students hard at work with their service project.
