"Childhood is a journey…" is one of my favorite quotes. I thoroughly enjoy sharing the journey with the Kindergarten children at St. Mary’s. Their enthusiasm for learning inspires me daily and therefore my Early Childhood profession has been very satisfying.

B.A. – Sociology/Elementary Education
M.Ed. – Early Childhood Education

Susan has been teaching Kindergarten here at St. Mary School since it opened in September 1999. Prior to this, she has taught Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade. Most of her experience has been in Catholic schools because she loves teaching children about God's love and sharing her faith with them.

Susan and her husband, John, have four children...all graduates of St. Mary School. Presently, she has a married son who is a Pharmacist living in Tennessee, a son who graduated from college and is working full-time, and another son and daughter in college. Susan enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is actively involved in her parish of St. Mary.
