It is a pleasure to begin a new year of teaching at St. Mary’s. I am struck by how talented the students are here and how supportive St. Mary’s parents are. It is truly a pleasure to be on the faculty of such a wonderful school.

Before coming to St. Mary’s I have spent a number of years as an English language writing teacher and a MCAs tutor.

When not in school I spend a great deal of time walking and playing with my Scottish terriers.

My husband and I have two twelve-year-old twin daughters, Isabel and Claire. When summer comes, I often travel with my daughters. We have visited numerous national parks, taken raft rides down scenic Western rivers, ridden on mules down canyons, and listened to cowboy melodies. When seeing the beauty of our nation first-hand, I am inspired to teach our students about the wonderful heritage we all share.
