Ms. Margaret Corazzini Spanish Teacher
"Expect the Best, Accept Nothing Less with Enduring Consistency."
B.A. English (with a minor in Spanish)
M. Ed. Elementary Education
I joined St. Mary’s School and Parish three years ago. Initially, I came to teach Jr. High Spanish but to my delight I found a wonderful community for my children to grow up in. Today, I am not only a teacher, but I am also a St. Mary’s parent. Both my son and daughter started their second year here in September, my daughter, in Fourth Grade and my son in Preschool. They couldn’t wait for school to start this year!
I was equally excited to return to the classroom this year as I have a wonderful group of students who are eager to increase their knowledge of the Spanish language.
When I began teaching Spanish at The Little Flower School in Somerville 15 years ago I thought I was helping out my principal as I was the only one on the faculty who had any knowledge of Spanish. What I have come to learn is that my role as a Spanish teacher in a catholic school is not only a vocation, but also a mission. I believe I have been called to St. Mary’s for myself, for my family and for the students I teach. I am grateful for the opportunity to teach here, where I have found my students rise to the expectations set forth before them. I pray that they come to love the language and the culture as much as I have over the last fifteen years.
