St. Mary's is truly blessed with the number of familiies who make up our wonderful faith community. The number of children in our religious education programs well exceeds 1,000. Space for classes in the parish is very low, so we use many varieties of gathering for instruction. Our Households of Faith is for families who cannot attend weekly classes from Grades K-9 with one exception:
Second graders MUST attend classes weekly on Saturday mornings to prepare for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.
HHF is held on the 2nd Sunday of the month from 12:30 2:30 pm in the church hall. At this time, experiences of our faith are shared with the whole family. The other three weeks of the month, parents teach their children at home. Books are supplied for the parents and for each child. Parents will be taught how to teach the program. Please be SURE you can afford the TIME for home study before signing up.

The program is called SPRED (Special Religious Education). SPRED is all over the world, and we are delighed it is finally coming to Worcester Diocese! Please see Sue Landry if you are interested in receiving more information.
