OPENING OF NEW PARISH ADDITION - COME AND SEE

On the weekend of August 14 & 15 we will informally open the new addition to our parish facilities. While Lauring Construction Co. will be completing the remaining items on the final punch list, the addition will be ready for our use next weekend. The elevator by the side entrance and the rest rooms on both levels will be functional. All the doors to the new addition will be open. Please share this opening date with family members, neighbors and friends who have been unable to attend Mass and have been waiting for the completion of the project which makes our church, hall and school completely accessible. In addition to the elevator at the new side entrance, there is also an automatic door opener at the front of the church and five new sections in the church designed for wheelchair use.

THANK-YOU to all who have supported Our Enduring Covenant and our building project. Thank-you for your patience throughout the past year of construction. Be sure to join us for the formal dedication of our new facility on Sunday, September 12th.

PARKING ON MAIN STREET

Just a reminder to those who are in the habit of parking in front of the church on Main Street: You can no longer double park on Main Street. When you do park in a single line, be sure that you do not block the entire sidewalk. People will still need to use the sidewalk. Thank-you.

ST. MARY’S SHINING STARS

Shining Stars is an opportunity for parishioners to recognize other parishioners for their stewardship actions and deeds. Do you want to say “thanks” or acknowledge a parish member for being a good steward by using their time, talent or treasure to serve others? You may recognize an individual, a family, a couple, a teenager or child. Download a nomination form from the stewardship section of our parish website: click here.

Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

THE SHINING STAR FOR AUGUST

Dr. John Harding

Dr. Harding has been and now continues to be the motivator committed to the success of Respect Life. As Chair he organizes a variety of events to provide awareness, opportunities for parish involvement, and television presentations. Grace, John’s wife, is very supportive as he ministers to St. Mary’s and people everywhere. Tune in television and John grammatically presents Catholicism and Family Life values in a unique style informing, challenging, coaxing and convincing Respect for Life at all stages.
