In Gratitude

“Nothing is more honorable than a grateful heart.”

On Saturday, November 7th, the families of those parishioners who have died since last All Souls Day gathered for a beautiful Mass of Remembrance. Following Mass, everyone in attendance was invited to a breakfast buffet in the parish hall. Once again, a major portion of the expense of the breakfast was paid for by a very generous donation from Britton Funeral Homes. Each year, Shannon Henry, and Britton staff members come to the Mass and breakfast to offer their support as well. The parish extends its deepest gratitude to Britton Funeral Homes and to Shannon Henry and David Bellerose for their generosity and support in making this event possible.

How to buy, wrap and deliver your Giving Tree gift on less than 60 seconds:

  1. Choose a gift tag from the Giving Tree.
  2. Take the gift tag downstairs to the Hall after Mass on November 28th – 29th or December 5th -6th.
  3. Walk up to the SMPA table and tell them the kind of gift you’re interested in. For example, you might want $20 worth of music for a teenage boy.
  4. Choose a gift card (from Borders, Barnes & Noble, itunes, Target, Walmart, Toys-R-Us, Visa, and lots more) and pay for it with check or cash. Our volunteers will make sure your gift is delivered to the Giving Tree Committee on collection day!

This service is offered by the St. Mary Parents’ Association. There is no surcharge, and no extra expense associated with the gift cards. They are sold at face value and can be redeemed for the full value. For more information, Contact Chris Baril at 508.845.1025 or CBaril@townisp.com.
