St. Mary’s School Graduates 19 Eighth-graders
As the Eighth Grade Class of 2006 graduate, they leave behind the following thoughts on their years here at St. Mary School.
I know the lessons from my peers and teachers (at St. Mary School) will never end; even in high school, my thoughts and my relationship with St. Mary’s will continue.
- Heath Trippi
This eighth grade year, I have learned that you just have to be yourself and treat others with the respect they deserve.
- Meghan McCaffrey
The most important lesson I will take away from St. Mary is the experience of the great teachers and the great friends I have.
- Lauren Barry
I love St. Mary’s so much and I know after I graduate, I will always come back here.
- Alex Barresi
In St. Mary’s I have learned a lot of lessons, but there is one specific lesson I will take into high school with me; there will be many things that life will throw at me and I have to be prepared for when and if they happen.
- Jonathan Gilbert
When something happens with your family or in the world, you can expect two things form a class at St. Mary’s lots of prayers and cards. I will always remember my class at St. Mary’s because they will always be there for me.
- Julia Moynagh
The most important lesson that I will take from St. Mary School is to never give up and to do the best I can in everything. If I do not understand how to do something, I can not stop. I have to learn how to do it and finish the project.
- James Armbruster
The most important lesson I’ve learned from St. Mary School is friendship. I have learned that if you want friends, you must be a friend.
- Margaret Harrison
The most important lesson I will take away from St. Mary’s is companionship and equality. I believe I have learned a lot about how to treat my friends and everyone else around me.
- Nicholas McCarthy
The one thing I will take from St. Mary’s cannot be found in a textbook. That lesson is to live in Jesus’ image and treat your friends like they are your family. I may not have been taught that lesson word for word, but I feel it every time I walk into the school.
- Jillian Vaccaro
I have been with every person in our class for at least two years, and they and our teachers are like family. So if next year I can’t see everyone every day, that’s OK because memories will last, and I know I can always come back to see my family here at St. Mary’s.
- Nora Donahue
St. Mary’s has provided me with a firm faith, enabling me to take on any endeavor. A solid education will bring me through high school, knowing that I can make a difference.
- Catherine Cote
The most important lesson I learned is to love yourself and your neighbor. I believe that if you love yourself and your neighbor, you will attain happiness.
- Molly Noonan
The most important lesson I will take away from St. Mary’s is to respect one another. You need to respect other people’s thoughts even if you disagree completely.
- Josh Anthony
With eight years at St. Mary School education slowly coming to an end, I have thought about everything I have learned. In my opinion there is only one lesson in life that I have never forgotten and that is to live life in the moment and never take the gift of life for granted.
- Aaron Caola
The most important lesson I have learned at St. Mary’s is that you don’t always get what you want. There are times when you fail, but you realize that is a part of life. You just set your eyes on a new goal and learn from your mistakes.
- Nicholas Stevenson
I have been going to St. Mary School since first grade. I have taken many important lessons from here, but I would say the most important lesson is to always look for the best in every situation because, no matter what, you always have your friends and family.
- Stephanie O’Brien
The most important lesson I learned at St. Mary’s was to never stop working as hard as you can even when the year is almost over. Remembering this helps me to convince myself that I can do whatever I want if I put my mind to it.
- Tonimarie Black
I first saw the word in the fifth grade classroom, above the old wood closets. It was the word of the month and it seemed familiar. The word was respect. Now, in eighth grade I feel I know respect. Respect is the ability to be compassionate towards all.
- Jared Giordano
