Gregorys Total 77 Years at School

Steve Gregory has been at St. John's for 34 years. He taught math before he became principal five years ago. On the wall of his office is a picture of another Gregory who preceded him at the school. His mother, Virginia Gregory, was secretary at St. John's for 43 years. The photo is a yearbook photo of the entire staff including Virginia. It was taken in 1958.

At that time the entire staff consisted of 15 people. Today, there are three times that many, he said.

St John's began on Temple Street in Worcester, he said. Building started on the present site in 1959. It was fully occupied in 1962.
